Our International Patient Coordinators provide continuous assistance to our international patients starting from their first contact with Koru Hospital throughout their treatment process and follow up period.  Every international patient is assigned a patient coordinator, who will coordinate and assist you in navigating every aspect of the treatment process, including appointments, travel, accommodation, communication between the patient and healthcare providers, admission and discharge procedures, etc.

Admissions and Discharge

Your Patient Coordinator will accompany you throughout your treatment, admissions and discharge procedures, and follow-up appointments.
Please make sure you bring the following documents with you when arrive for treatment:
•  Personal identification 
•  Your medical records, x-rays, or previous test results (if your doctor has requested them)
•  List of your medical and surgical history with dates and procedures you've had
•  Your health insurance cards for all of your insurance plans
•  Referral and/or authorization forms, if required by your insurance provider
•  Contact information of your primary care physician and specialists (in case we need to coordinate your treatment and follow up care)
At the end of your treatment, you will receive a file including medical records of procedures and tests performed at Koru Hospital, prescriptions, instructions for follow up care, billing documents, etc.  You will have an appointment with your physician before you leave the hospital to go through your follow up care instructions, follow up diagnostic tests or imaging, if necessary, and any questions you may have regarding your treatment.
