Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan was born in Yozgat, Turkey. He graduated from Ankara University Medical Faculty in 1991 and became a medical doctor. He completed his internal medicine specialization training at Gazi University Medical Faculty, Department of Internal Medicine in 1996, and his gastroenterology subspecialization training at İnönü University Medical Faculty, Department of Gastroenterology in 2001.
After completing his subspecialization training, he started his academic career as a lecturer at Gazi University Medical Faculty in 2002. In 2003, he was promoted to assistant professor and became a faculty member. He received his associate professorship in 2007 and his professorship in 2012. Between 2004-2006, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Doğan worked as a researcher at the University of California San Diego in the United States for 2 years. In January 2023, he left the Department of Gastroenterology at Gazi University Medical Faculty and continued his work at Koru Hospital. His medical interests are as follows:
